In the first story, Dana White Has a History of Big Casino Wins
Dana White is best known as the face of the Ultimate Fighting Championship or UFC. His net worth is around a half a billion dollars after selling his financial stake in that organization. White is also known as a very good blackjack player. To the point where the Palms Casino in Las Vegas has asked him to stay away from their tables. His first ban came when new owners took over after a $1.6 million win. Under new ownership, he was asked to return and then went on to beat the casino again for another $1.6 million. That earned him a championship blackjack belt and another ban.
Next up, A Bad Beat in Las Vegas Still Adds Up to a $216,000 Payout
Imaging losing a hand of poker with four eights. That is exactly what happened recently at Station Casino in Las Vegas. Given the progressive nature of the game, the losing hand still pocketed a hefty return. The winning hand was an eight-high straight flush. That was worth $43,387. The losing hand added up to $75,928. All the players at that table won $1356 each. All the active poker players across Station Casino poker rooms earned $557. This was just one of any number of big jackpot wins at Las Vegas casinos in the month of June.

Earlier this year, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe filed a lawsuit against Factory Mutual Insurance Co. The issue is more than $76 million in denied claims related to COVID-19 losses. This tribe owns and operates Foxwoods Casino Resort. More recently, the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority filed a separate lawsuit against the same Rhode Island-based insurance carriers. That lawsuit also cites millions of dollars in denied claims for Mohegan Sun. The insurance company is seeking to have the first lawsuit dismissed. It has stated that these claims are not covered by the current policy. The Mashantucket Tribe cites the provisions of its “all risk” insurance policy.
In the last story, Wisconsin Tribal Casino Pays Out Million-Dollar Slots Jackpot
Ho-Chunk Gaming Madison just paid out its first million-dollar progressive jackpot in six years. The winner was a local Madison, Wisconsin resident. They won the $1.3 million playing the 1,000,000 Degrees machine. The total winning wager was just $3. Casino officials noted that this was the first seven-figure progressive slot jackpot since 2015. There are a total of six Ho-Chunk Gaming locations across the state. The casino in Madison offers more than 1,200 different slot, video poker and keno games. There is also a bingo hall with paper and electronic games. Bingo wins can reach as much as $100,000.
