According to GeoComply Solutions, on the first day of legal sports wagering in Kansas, 16,000 attempts to place a bet from Missouri were blocked. Almost two-thirds of this number came from the Missouri portion of Kansas City. According to the state's new gambling law, anyone over the age of 21 is allowed to place a bet, no matter what state they're from. However, do to so, they have to be within Kansas state limits.
